World Refugee Week 2024
In this fifth year of reflecting ahead of World Refugee Day (June 20th), we want to share some stories and resources which encourage reflection on those vulnerable people seeking protection, or newcomers in our own neighbourhoods.
Our theme this week is "Moved to Engage," drawn from one of our five core services for World Partners: Activating Compassion. We want to respond like Jesus to the needs of the world with the same love and care that He demonstrated in his humanity.

International Development Week 2024
Engaging in IDW2024, we will be reflecting on Galatians 5: 13-14 and share stories about global partners who are expressing their freedom in Christ through adaptively serving their communities in unique ways. EMCC is grateful to continue to interact with these stories. We hope that you will be encouraged how EMCC people have engaged with this work, of learning and connecting with the global church, as we mutually model the freedom to serve others and demonstrate how God seeks to restore all things.

Global Workers and Partners Week 2023
For Global Workers and Partners Week, we are excited to meditate on the mission we ALL have the privilege of participating in.
From November 13-17 we will be hearing inspiring stories from EMCC Global Partners and Workers and learning about opportunities to partner together with our Global partners and workers.
This year, we hope these stories will encourage us all in our collective identity, seeking to demonstrate Jesus and His Kingdom in a variety of contexts.

World Refugee Week 2023
This year's theme for reflection ahead of World Refugee Day on June 20th is, "Be the Light."
Our Canadian context is beautifully mixed with people from various countries around the world. The world is on our doorstep. As people continue to relocate for economic, socio-political, and other reasons, what exciting opportunities exist for the EMCC and the Canadian church? We can reach out in friendship, offering community, and varying levels of support depending on their journey. "You're here to be a light," (Matt. 5:16, MSG). We have the privilege of journeying alongside these folks in relationship, demonstrating the love of Jesus. "Keep open house; be generous with your lives. By opening up to others, you'll prompt people to open up with God, this generous Father in heaven" (Matt.5:16, MSG). We don't want to hide that light. We're light-bearers on a mission.

International Development Week 2023
Engaging in IDW2023, we will be reflecting on 2 Kings 4:1-7 and share stories about global partners who are using what they have for the common good of their contexts and encouraging others to see the resources they do possess. EMCC have interacted with their stories. We hope that you will be encouraged how EMCC people have engaged with this work, of learning and connecting with the global church as they use what we have and trust for more.

Global Workers and Partners Week 2022
Our 2022 Campaign is centered around stories of how global workers and partneres demonstrate generosity in their care and concern for others. We hope these stories will encourage you, both in your participation as part of the wider church, and as you consider extending hospitality and care to those God places in your path. May their stories give you confidence as we all seek to adaptively participate in Jesus' mission in the world.

World Refugee Week 2022
For World Refugee Day, 2022, World Partners caught up with EMCC people involved in relationships with refugee claimants and those who have been sponsored, as well as those recently settled in Canada. Let's learn together from these friends who have pursued relationship with refugees, shared generously, and remain transformed and convicted by these interactions.
