Confidently Walking in the Spirit with Enrich Facilitator Valerie Hopman
A timely conversation for leaders in an uncertain time. Topics address Biblical clarity, discernment and practical tools for walking in the Spirit in everyday life as leaders. Valerie shares stories about being led by the Spirit in conversations that have resulted in freedom in people's lives. She also talks about how there can be unity among diversity in the Church, encounters with God and confidence in hearing and obeying His voice. Breakout rooms discussed how we are personally walking in the Spirit and had the opportunity to practice hearing God’s voice together. Valerie's passions are Jesus, the church, and the lost. She is deeply involoved in Centre Street Church and is an EMCC Enrich Facilitator. Currently, Valerie leads 'Encounter God's Presence' and Centre Street's Monday night Evangelism, both of which hinge on hearing God's voice and walking confidently in the Spirit. She oversees and engages in evangelizing, speaking, mentoring, discipling, teaching, modelling, equipping, developing in depth team fellowship, prayer coverage, inner healing, deliverance and prayer ministry. Valerie loves equipping churches and groups to hear God in all the different scenarios of everyday life; even the grocery store. In her relationship with Jesus, she wants the 'real' thing and to be all that God created her to be. Valerie has been married for 24 years and keeps active with her 4 kids in Calgary, Alberta.
