President John Cressman facilitates an interactive equipping experience for Board Members, Board Chairs, and Pastors with an overview of how to approach the board table and what to bring so as to be more effective and discerning in this valuable role. This call includes training, encouragement, conversation, and breakout rooms to consider practical applications for your local board setting. John Cressman has had the privilege of coaching over 70 church board chairpersons and equipping many local church boards as part of his work on the EMCC National Team over the past nine years. His doctoral thesis was: Developing the Confidence and Competencies of Church Board Chairs and was a response to the need to support church boards, particularly chairpersons, to function better as spiritual governing leaders of leaders. He brings encouragement and practical resources to foster healthy church boards, that in turn can lead to healthy, future-ready congregations.
